ah, nostalgia...

I just had a lovely dinner with this dude that I randomly met the other day at a coffee shop. It was so random our meeting, but we started chatting and we pretty much had the same life, which I found hilarious and fantastic. So we decided to go to dinner tonight to compare/contrast our adventures and it made me smile because I got to re-live all my adventures.

Sometimes I forget all the shite I've done, the places I've been, the people I've met. I tend to run with a crowd who travels often and far more than I, so I forget that for a 25-year-old, I've accomplished a lot and seen a lot that the world has to offer. I don't plan on stopping any time soon, but I don't know...I guess sometimes I forget and tonight was a nice reminder.

So since I'm doing too much now - although I am launching an exhilerating tour of the midwest (that was sarcasm...not too excited about my travels through minnesota and wisconsin in the middle of january) - I am going to reminisce about the travels of my past. Feel free to skip them if you want...otherwise, enjoy!

Oh yeah, and happy 2009! Woohoo for the first post of 2009! And tomorrow is the inauguration so double Woohoo!
